Hello, guys! I finished my hack this today.
A Halloween SMW hack consists vanilla style, custom palettes and no HDMA effects. Contains level Halloween-themed.

I played the level and while I do like the palette scheme you got for the bg and fg, the level design for the most part is p boring and forgettable. There is nothing much going on with the level that amounts to "standard mario level #999" considering that the ghost placement largely was just there to fill up space instead of actively being incorporated into the design. It also feels incomplete because the level justs ends 8 screens in with barely anything going on that is to twist up with your (non)-idea.

Good level design needs to incorporate an active interaction between obstacle and enemy placement having a central idea that is engaging to the player. Especially with a singular level experience which can work well if you design with the above level design principles accordingly, and I'm sorry MarioStar100 but I did not find much enjoyment playing this level.

Bug Issues:

This is the only part thats an active engagement in the level but the Boo Ring amounts to RNG when it comes to encountering and where its placed is unfair to the player blind dropping off of the ledge and run jumping to the other platform on the otherside.

All issues have been fixed.
Change log:
1.1:
Fixed a slope celling that Mario stuck.
Removed Boo Counter when jump blinds.

Well you did fix the issues regarding bugs and added a few bubbles which is nice but the structural problem remains: Your level is a boring playthrough because of a lack of a distinct focus on the interplay between obstacle and enemy placement to have a gimmick. It just exists, and that is the problem I raised that wasn't addressed, which requires more extensive alterations.

Congrats on finishing your hack in time for Halloween!

I gave it a run and got to the end, its pretty straightforward which is nice. I was afraid it would be one of those super difficult hacks being only one level but its pretty manageable. Most enemies are placed out of Mario's way so it's not hard to avoid them. I think you should try to place more ghosts closer to Mario's path instead of in the sky. Other than that, its not a bad level, just kind of plain.

My only big concern is this point here:

Usually a bubble spawns right where mario needs to land after this jump so unless you know its coming, it's very hard to avoid. I would recommend moving it back a bit so it doesn't show up right as Mario is in the middle of his jump.
