This is a pretty good looking game! The only thing I had trouble with is the slippery walking of Mario. That's what made me fail. Also, when I lose and error appears:

The physics seem to be alright. My only complaint is that Mario really slides around a lot. It isn't as enjoyable to move around on the ground. I also don't really care for his wall kick. I think it would be better if you kept sliding after letting go of the direction facing the wall and instead disconnected from the wall if you press the other direction. Maybe have Mario hold onto the wall for a sec before jumping to the player can get ready for their next action (instead of the jump being instantaneous).
The grahics are really nice though, and that rain looks pretty good in motion. Not too hot about Shift and Ctrl being the jump and run especially since ctrl+various keys perform various actions on Windows. I suppose if you eventually plan to have custom keyboard controls then this won't really be a problem.

What happened to the rolling move? I found it a very unique feature of this game.

The problems/glitches I had: ~The game cannot be closed, I have to open the task manager to close it ~Mario runs fast when moving and crouching in the opposite direction of the direction he is facing. For example, I'm crouching with Mario facing left, but moving horizontally to the right. I have to press left to increase speed to the right. This made me fall in a hole because I though left woud reduce the speed. ~Butterflies get stuck in blocks, I noticed that in the block wall in the end of the level.

Couldn't really record it because Bandicam doesn't do fullscreen and I couldn't minimize the screen because my F keys doesn't work like they should, but beause of Knockback I got chained into a automatic death combo in the begin of the level because I hit the Piranha Plant, the Goomba, another Piranha Plant, and a other Goomba. I think you should really lower the knockback, as that chain could really ruin the game for someone.

Fixed. I can't fix it because it's too fun. I will fix it later.
