Introducing: Sand Geysers (Currently using placeholder graphics)
These aren't like the ones from NSMBWii. These ones are always going, and the tops aren't solid, you bounce a bit, which makes sense considering I can't imagine a fountain of sand is the easiest thing to get your footing on.
Sliding into them will result in you being launched in the air.
Objects and enemies can also be caught up in them.
Turns out making a giant sand geyser can allow for some neat vertical ascending levels.
Enemies also bounce along the surface, meaning you have to be careful when jumping on them.
