Idea: At the pink switch palace, allow Luigi to do a superjump under the switch, I was disappointed when I had to do a normal jump. Make it send the toads FLYING too just because.

I like this idea. Also make it so they say something different or something.

Also, I had an idea. On the pause screen, there could be a "Switch Level" option or something. It allows you to enter any level you've beaten or have access to. When opened up, it shows you a small version of the map. When you select a level and go there, you lose one pipe.

Make it so they say something different? Who? THe toads in the switch palace?

As for going into a level from another level, why? We will most likely add a method of exiting a level during play that could probably end up costing a 1up pipe, but letting you switch from one level to another would be unnecessary.

Actually, the first one isn't meant to be super hard to get. We wanted people to know about the item so we made that one a bit easier to get.

Hey Guinea, a few ideas.

1. Red coins/Coin boxes: Certain rooms could have 8 red coins and a locked box. Simple enough, collect the coins and the box drops the item. It could be a goldshroom, a key, or something less bonus sounding, like an specific power up that you would need to finish a level, or a spring pad or something. (this would mainly be for character exclusive levels)

2. Refill variable. I'm thinking that blocks that give items should, if possible, have an infinite variable so we could have puzzles that require things like Fire Flowers, Starmans, or anything that would be of use but can run out (also it would help with certain bosses).

3. Bubble Blocks (Did I tell you about this idea?)- A small bubble that holds an item like a ? block. Pop the bubble and the item is yours. Perfect for times when you can't really stop or anything.


I think thats about it.

EDIT- Oh yeah, you know those new oval clouds I made for the BG? Idk what happened when you added them, but they have random dots all over them.

^sounds good. The BG is because of a GM glitch when pasting graphics in the GM graphics editor, can be fixed, don't mind it.

Some more ideas I had.

Pop buds- Basically flower buds that are attached to vines in the BG. You simply touch the bud and it pops open a second later, giving you a coin (like the ones in SMG2).

Choppah's and Mini Choppah - Works like Choppah from SMG2 (the green flying Monty Mole thing). You can have it stay in play, or with some variables, you can make it go up and down, or left and right (it sohuld probably pause as it reaches it's peak). Mini Choppah is the same thing but smaller (single block size). I want him since he can fit pretty much anywhere and it allows us to block paths in midair while taking up as little space as possible (Munchers have to be attacher to objects, and if you need to keep the player away from multiple sides, you are looking at at least 3 blocks taken up.)

Eglide- This is a pseudo power up. Simply enough, it's an egg you find in a ? block (should be funny since most people will assume it's going to be Yoshi). It soon hatches half way relieving a bird. If you pick it up, you will fall slowly (it could either be while you hold it, or more simley, he could grab onto the players back which may look better since some players hold graphic may make it look odd). Either way it would simply be for "falling" levels.



Eglide probably wouldn't be needed, it was jsut a random idea, but I would like to have the Choppahs or something like that in the engine to make later levels more of a challenge. As for the buds, it would be cool to have them but it won't make a huge difference in the end.


EDIT- Actually, I think Guinea and I talked about having a balloon like item in later levels that would allow you to jump high and drift, but it could pop. Eglide would work in the same manner, except he'd look more original than a basic balloon.

Just to give an idea. The egg pops out and hatches. You grab the little bird and it essentially hops onto your back and starts flapping whenever you fall.

A Character (on options, it has a option to change the character speed, Mario is a little faster, so it will runs like 1,90 with the option, Luigi some about 1,80 [I guess he is slower]) Speed setting...
If the game have Online Scoreboards and highscores of your time, it will disable it (only default will save)...

I don't know much about it, but I don't like to play a Mario game if Mario runs so slow :(
In-fact, it's getting nice, lots of pretty good ideas, and popularity...
