I tried to fix the timing problem, but it hasn't really helped. It shouldn't be too bad if there's a sound playing during the transition.

Yeah I think things will work as is. I actually just added both songs into the level I was talking about in my last post, and it sounds amazing and really adds to the atmosphere.

Okay, so, the desert athletic theme isn't going to have the same melody as the overworld, and nobody's taken it yet, right? If that's the case, I'm on it, gimme a few days!
Say, got a soundfont or bunch of VSTs as a guideline to the instruments?

Actually I believe Tri is making something for the desert athletic. You are still free to make something for the desert if you wish (it may work in places where Tri's theme doesn't), or you can take something else on the list if you wish.

That sounds great. The only issue I has was that my volume was only at about 30% and that song still sounded too loud.

That sounds about right. I'll have to hear it in game with the rest of the music to be sure but I think that will work.

Hmmm... It's pretty good, but it seems to suffer the same issue that techmario's ghost house theme had, as in, it sounds more like the BG of a song (if that makes any sense). My best example would be to say to listen to techmario's old ghost house theme, then the new one.

Don't get me wrong, it sounds pretty dang good, it's just that it feels a bit lacking.

Desert Athletic- Sounds perfect. The only thing I'd say is maybe it could be a tad faster. Desert Athletic - You can speed it up, I've tried both ways of speeding up (affecting/non-affecting the pitch), and it sounds better. I mean, it is an Athletic theme.
Ghost- I mean Factory Athletic - Yeah, now that I think of it, it'd fit better as a factory athletic. Should I change the instruments or leave them as they are?
Real Ghost Athletic - Hmm... I'll make a remix of Forever Forest while I wait for inspiration. Hopefully listening to its melody enough would get me some ideas.
EDIT: Either a Forever Forest remix or a Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon remix. More likely one's the Dark Moon one. Also, have some underwater feat SMW.

Ah, I see. If he can't pull a better trick, I guess this could be... say, a backup plan of sorts?

You could change the instruments if you want. Honestly, if you add some machine like "instruments" in the BG, I think it would work as is, so I'll leave it up to you.

For the ghost athletic, Forever forest, Luigi's Mansion, or something new, whichever you'd like to make is fine.

As for the Water theme, it sounds pretty good, a very solid song, although idk, maybe it's me but it feels like it's missing something. Maybe some subtle chimes in the BG? Idk, I'll leave it up to you. It's good as is but if you can think of something to make it more... lively(?), that would be cool.
