Hmmm... I think so yeah, or something like it.Bonus points if you can make a song heavily featuring a banjo and accordion.

EDIT- Now that I think about it, I don't think I ever mentioned to banjo accordion thing to anyone on MFGG so I guess the overall "joke" is pointless.

Ugh, got no inspiration for snow.
Any other worlds?
EDIT: Do you guys mind if I do a few remixes of my tracks that I'm gonna be using for a commercial game for Midas?

He made tracks for a commercial game.
He wants to use some of these tracks for Midas.

I say if it's not a problem for him or whoever is the boss of this project he is talking about I don't mind.
Although I'd kinda recommend against it if I was in his position, but it's up to him I guess.

Nah.
I won't. I think it's stupid now. Though, I do have no ideas for an ice world at all. I'm not gonna do remixes of my stuff, so I need another worl to work with.
Sorry bout that. Really, I am.

Thats no problem. The following world is the harbor world. Due to it essentially being the "Well, this level won't fit in any other world so lets put it here" world, it may require a few themes.

Harbor athletic (SMS may be a good point of inspiration)
Theater (the level has you running through 5 rooms based on MB, SMB, SMB2USA, SMB3, and SMW, so maybe a medley or something? Idk).
Computer (This would be a glitchy/computer sounding version of a basic athletic theme)
Computer Castle (Same as the previous one, but with a castle theme)
Harbor OW
BowzWare (A glitchy/computer sounding M&L like boss theme for a viral Bowser boss).

Just a few notes for the computer themes, Quickie-la said she was interested in doing those, but I haven't heard from her in forever so idk if she's still interested. Even if she is, theres really no issue since the rule with the music so far has been "The best one is in".

As for how you'd do the computer themes (if you want to do the, that is), just have fun with them. Have them go from normal to 8bit, randomly add a sound clip from another game, it's all up to you, just as long as the end result sounds good of course.

It's nothing much, I pretty much just slapped a melody on top of Ricco Harbor. Almost.
I found this corrupted audio file made from opening a midi in GoldWave, and I think I'll be tackling the BowzWare theme with it. I'll be sampling a bit from games, like the NES's percussion and Sonic's sound effects.

If you are interested, you can also take a listen to Tobie's Bowser battle theme as well. Maybe add some parts from that in (since it's a viral version of Bowser).

Anyways, I look forward to hearing what you make for this as I'm personally fond of boss themes. The main issue is that you usually can't make them until you can see the boss in motion, but since BowzWare is an RPG styled fight, it shouldn't be an issue either way.

Actually, I found out the glitchy sound is off-rhythm (surprise, surprise).
In fact, I'm going to focus on my own soundtrack for a while. After I complete all the songs for my game (or hopefully before), I'll start helping again. I may do a melody once in a while, but not as much as till now.

Mkay. We have everything we'll need for the demo now anyway so that works out anyways.

Decided to fix the harbor and train themes a bit. I still hate the harbor one, though.

Thanks. I fixed the train theme to 'loop' in one file and replaced the whistle with one from NSMB.
Oh, and the train theme uses the Korg M1 Brass and Piano (had to use a piano soundfont, the VST only supports one track at a time). I personally love that synthesizer.
...Now, I better gotta work on the ghost overworld. Where is it used, again?

I'm sorry for having nothing up for so long, but here, I found a nice sample with cool machine sounds, so I updated the factory theme. http://www.mediafire.com/?e3q8cxbsp29azav
Free cookie if you know where the sample is from.
I intended it as you have the FactoryStart file play first, and swapping over to FactoryLoop when FactoryStart finishes, but if you don't want to, you can just use FactoryLoop, you won't lose much.
As for the Ghost Overworld theme, I've been busy with my stuff (as my SoundCloud would prove), but I think I might be able to come up with /something/ before you upload the demo.

Oh, don't worry about the ghost OW theme, Pucifur finished the ghost theme he started a while back and sent it to me and it fit perfectly for the OW theme.

As for the factory theme, that sounds amazing, good job.
