Music goes here. Accepted format is: OGG/Vorbis. Sound effects go here as well. Accepted format is WAV. Preferably use the music tag so we can all listen in without having to download and save the file and give you feedback. If you need access to the game to make fitting music, talk to me.

OFFICIAL MUSIC CHECKLIST Spoiler: Ghost world- Phangarde (first one in the image) - A somewhat spooky theme of course, although his character does have a bit of class to him so that may be worth keeping in mind). Ice World- Ice Bowser (powered up bowser)- Probably just his current theme, unless Tobie wants to make a remix. Harbor World- BowzWare (second in image)- Fought in an RPG like fight. Probably would use a gltichy distorted sounding song that still sounds good. May have a second part in the fight that mimics final boss of Yoshi's Island. Ocean World- Syrup Sub - Not much in terms of a design or anything, but the idea is that you are fighting her while in the Marine Pop, so it would be like a scrolling shooter. Possibly a fitting remix of Syrup's current battle theme. Island World- Big Pamooka (third in image) Probably something with a slight jungle feel. As I'm picturing it now, parts would mimic classic DK (arcade) scenarios, so maybe some nods to that. Mountain World- Bowser Jr. Megadrill - Minecart based fight. May switch halfway into the fight to having you on a moving platform. Sky World- Phantaro- Giant Phanto enemy with hands made of smaller normal phantos. The obvious route here would be a SMB2 boss remix, but if you can come up with something more original, go for it. Castle World- Bowser and Syrup - This isn't the real final boss, but I'd rather wait for not, I don't want to spoiler EVERYTHING right here after all. Either way, the most obvious choice would most likely be an "epic" as one might put it, remix of both Syrup and Bowser's themes. Also, here is the original list. I'll repost it from time to time to avoid it getting lost: Spoiler: Minecarts Chase Music Desert Athletic Ruins Athletic (should be able to fit any situation, from desert, underwater, and jungle) ~~Ice world OW~~ Ice Athletic Ghost OW Ghost athletic Ghost house Harbor OW Harbor Athletic (something SMSish) Computer Athletic Computer Castle Athletic Tropical Athletic (if done right, the harbor theme could be the tropic theme) Tropical OW Marine Pop theme Island OW ~~Jungle Athletic~~ Volcano Athletic Piranha guts Athletic ~~Mountain OW~~ Mountain Athletic (Mt. Rugged vibe maybe?) ~~Sky OW~~ Sky Castle OW Additional Miniboss themes (spooky, traditional, huge, ect) ~~Bonus Room~~ Rocket Barrel (may be included in the game. Probably based on/remixed from the theme in DKCR) Castle Mechanical Athletic (general theme that can be used in anything from a factory to a giant clock and so on)

Here's something original that i recorded.

To me, it doesn't really sound like it'd fit The Midas Machine.
but, if you find a use for it, just give credit

EDIT: I didn't realize how much background noise you can hear in it. if you like it, I'll re-record it excluding said noises (and maybe add a bit more "Mario flavor" to it..)

I can actually think of a few places where piano music could work in the game, especially in the ghost world later on.

awesome, i'll redo this without some of the background noise in it. It's also gonna sound like a completely different track because how i roll is i never play something the same twice (unless im performing with drums and other instruments in a live band) if its gonna be a ghost level, woould you want it a bit more eery and mysterious?(however eery is spelled)

Yeah, a bit more eery would be good. There is another place in the game that could use piano music, but I'll have to PM that one to you due to spoilers.

I had did lots of SSBM rips... I already uploaded but it's still in queue, after that I will send the link (not directly link, to the sheet, I know it's not allowed to put directly link of the sheet, only at the Sheet Information) And such others like Mario Kart Wii and Ds EDIT: But well, can I send all the stuff here? Or just a link with the sounds section of my account? There is lots of useful stuff

Just a heads up, we still need music. We've had a few people show interest but I haven't heard from some of them in a while. Either way, if anyone is interested, we would appreciate it.

As of right now what we need is: Desert level desert OW Bowser boss fight Spooky Miniboss (This isn't directed towards ghost minibosses but spooky minibosses in general) Minecart riding Train level theme If you can knock anything off that list, that would be awesome.

got it i don't think we'll be able to get all musicians to follow this precise style and instrumentation, but something close to it, yeah
