Made him lean forward a bit more. Idk if it's enough though.

He could probably lean over a little more. It still looks looks like he's standing up more so than resting on his upper limbs.

Image

I guess his head-spine axis should feel more horizontal than vertical, as in that DK sprite.

As a comparison, Pamooka has an 5-10° bend at the hip, followed by a 40° bend at the shoulder. The neck line is at a 60° angle to the floor.

The DK sprite has a 45° bend at the hip, followed by another 45° bend at the shoulder to form a net 30° bend from head to hip, and the neck is at a 0° (parallel) angle to the floor.

Well, I had just finished editing it some more, but if this isn't right then I'll work on it some more tomorrow.
Image

I'm actually more considering changing the pose in general since in most cases, he will be holding a watermelon shooting gun, so having him stand like this would be rather awkward.

That looks much better, mainly because you have him bending at the hip. Maybe a little more bend there and he'll be perfect (though this it wouldn't be bad if you went with how he is now). I think that the general bent over monkey pose wouldn't look awkward at all for holding a gun (if he still has one hand on the ground for support). Iirc, the Joker has a tendency to slouch over while firing his machine gun (or maybe I'm just making **** up, but that's how I remember it). The other machine gun shooting pose (especially with mobsters) is usually with an erect back (while happily spraying all over the place), but I can't see a monkey doing that.

Idk, I may just go with that one then (or a variation of it if I have him leaning forward a bit more).

I also made this WIP, mainly for fun, although I think it would make a nice animation leading into the battle.
Image
It would have him cracking his knuckles (like I said, it's still a WIP, just wanted to get the idea down).

Potential new enemy design.
Image
I call it a Meek. Kinda big for a mouse right? Either way he may not show up in the end, I'd need to talk it over with Guinea first. Not that it matters since he wouldn't be needed until later.

I mainly planned on him working like the standard Chargin' Chuck from SMW (the kind that would chase you), but if nothing else I'd be fine with him being a Cleft reskin. Again, this would be up to Guinea and even then it would be late game material.

Sorry for the triple post. I don't remember if I've posted this before, but it's relevant to something Guinea and I have been planning over MSN.

Something with the shading of the blue one looks a little off, but other than that, they look pretty good!

Idk how the shading on the blue one alone could be off when it's the same as the others, but I can look into it.

The only spot the shading looks different is on the actual blue part of the penguin (the arm/head area). It might just look different to me because the others have something on their arms and the blue one doesn't. Or it could just be my ignorance in the area of spriting

It's not you, I see it either. Maybe making the shading a bit more visible?

There isn't a lot I can actually do due to the shape of his body.
Image
I can add some slight shading around the rim of his wing/flipper/arm but if I go for a more noticeable shading, it makes it look like the wing is cut off half way (like the shading is the blue part of his body, thus making the wing look super tiny).

I prefer the earlier shading this shading makes it took like it has a lot of volume which bumty's don't their flippers (think that's what it's called) are flat.

Their flippers are flat, but they aren't paper thin. I think this much depth of it is fitting enough for it.

Who has two thumbs and spent all day spriting a piece of walking meat?
Image
This guy.

Tenderling is still a WIP (mainly his walk). I wanted to practice more lively animations and that was the result (of course it's an enemy that will only show up in one level).

EDIT- Some of you may have noticed that in the demo, when a Spiny is in it's shell, the spikes randomly stick straight up and it looked awkward. I have gone back and fixed that. I'm not going to bother uploading it, but you can see what is essentially the same thing on the Spike Blop part of the sheet.

EDIT2- A custom design for the gut level.

It looks like you are planning to make a level inside the body.
