small-ish update; i've scrapped the engine entirely, and i'm using the mario worlds engine 2 instead.

That's a shame. :( It would have been nice to see a Mario game that handles uniquely differently than other games.

Are you going to use some of your own sprites for the game still? I really like the Mario sprites you've used in these little demos :)

that depends on how development goes. i want to release a small demo as soon as possible (or at least a beta test thing), and if i take too long, i'll just use SMW sprites, then change them for the next demo.
