It appears the invite link has expired, and since I was recently promoted to a project leader for this, I decided to create a permanent invite link here for the discord, where you'll have more immediate feedback and direction given than posting in this thread. https://discord.gg/tEPG3SX Mit and Mors have both contributed Marios, and while we're happy with them, do keep creating your own and sharing them as we want to make SMW look wonderful for this hack. Currently, Goombas have been completed, Bob-ombs are starated, we have an excellent Koopa Troopa, and some tile work in progress. If you're really just in for the levels, while it'd be wonderful if we had the graphics finished first, do share! Let us know what you expect out of a community of -w and mfgg as well; we're not looking for JUMP levels of intricate level and mechanical knowledge, but if you think there are things that can be somewhat representative of something that you can play into a level or a theme, it'd be great to know. |

i'd have suggested using lx5's powerup patch to give mario ice flowers, hammer suits, boomerangs, etc, but the patch isn't done yet for 32 x 32 players (which looks like what you're using) because lx5 is taking forever!!! (for context: lx5 is an asm boy at smwcentral.com) |

I know how to make custom Mario World songs! I've made the FF4 victory song too. EDIT: Oh wait this isn't a music thing. Even so, ask if you want. |

I don't have a Discord actually. But I'm reachable here on the board. Unless I need to join on it. If you have questions I can answer. I used a coding thing called MML, and I learned a lot of the commands. You type c d e f g a b for notes, type o1, o2, o3, o4, etc, for the octaves, and you can type < or > to change octaves. @ and a number changes instruments. I followed a how to guide. The simpler the song (and especially if you have a midi I can study) the easier it can be to make. |

I'm somewhat rusty since I haven't done it for some years, and the version of addmusic I've used (made easy) is considered out of date. But I know how to make anyway. I've never made LOTS of music either, so I don't know if every song is going to be unique, but let me know. |
