As cute an idea as it may be and even with how well this is presented, I find my smartphone to be more useful for such tasks. The volume on the effect that plays when the timer runs out is also way too loud and scared the jeebus out of me even with the application's volume turned way down as well.

Cute little thing. I agree that people are more likely to use a regular app for measuring time. However, you might be able to integrate these features into other fangames you make, so being able to program these things will help you out in the future.
