ive made a great news everyone. :soveryhappy:
for nobody knowing, ive been creating a develop for an indie game[not gaem] starring a cute shark girl. the game will be completely nautical themed and will star sea creatures. no this isnt disneys under the sea by little mermaid. its a game idea by me
ive made a basic engine but nothing real fancy yet. and ive made a few sprites and animations id like to sho off as a graet start. this will be fantastic! for anyone who is an ask, Rachel is still a thing

The biting animation is nice, but you should give more frames to the running animation and try a different hair color or replace the hair with some head accessory instead (like a bandana?). Also she looks like a species swapped version of Rachel, give the shark girl a look that is better differenciable from her. Her head is really huge and bulky and makes her look like a brute and not cute. I'm sure you can draw a shark girl that looks cute even if she's a shark.
Is she supposed to have a full belly or is she just fat? In case she's fat, the rest of her body should be fat as well!

I assume the plot and gameplay is recycled from Rachel the Yoshi Girl? Meaning the shark lady goes out of the sea to eat people like a ferocious murderous shark :soveryhappy: or is she going to feed from seafood?

she wont be a murderous killer she will only eat those who are commiting a bad. and yea they will all be sea creatures aka seafood.
there will be orcachicks other sharkchcks stingraychicks mantishrimpchicks sqidchicks and jellyfishchicks. some will be eaters of prey and some will just fight.
right this moment i only have eating for combat planned for the playerchick. does anybody have another a idea for fighting? i think itd be cool to have her fight with a trident like what Posedin have

Body type seems to be very similar to the rest of your art. Didn't someone suggest adding more variety a few months back?

You mentioned Poseidon's trident as a weapon and I think you should definitely go for an ancient greek style with settings and characters, but all obviously under the sea. But then you'd have to redesign your current characters to fit in. Doesn't mean the shark girl can't keep the "hot" look this way, though. But it would be a lot more creative.:P

Sounds interesting.

I think the character designs would look better in a more simple cartoony style like Starfy. The designs that you made come off as quite unappealing and humanized (To the point where it actually appears as a pornographic furry fetish game).

interesting concept
i can't think of many games where you can be a shark

sharks swim though and I'm fairly certain they don't have legs. is there swimming in this game?

I'm sorry, but this design is just really unappealing. Bright magenta bras with jiggle physics, black high heels, massive amounts of eyeliner and red hair...She looks like she took a wrong turn on her way to the family reuinion.

I think you could keep the core idea of "shark girl" and do a much better job on this.

And the two are mutually exclusive how?
Even if it's a fetish game it's still a proper game with proper art.

I think the character designs are pretty neat for the kind of game it's supposed to be. I like the concept.

it plans for be a mixture of ecco the doflin and maloras mask zora mask swimming so it depends on your opinion of those 2 games

i think the design is pretty good. it captures the idea of sharkgirl and prominently displays an important game mechanic (eating dudes)
her hair is a little off though. long hair gets blown around when someone moves, so it looks weird with less animation.

her boobs are also really short? like they should be lower on her body or something? i'm not 100% sure, maybe i'm being silly.

Your first post was already reported, but this is unacceptable content for a family-friendly MFGG. Fetish work and explicit sexuality has its place, and in view of an intended child audience is not that place.

While I do agree that the characters are hypersexified, There are no explicit boobs, butts or pingas shown here.

Sloshy, first thing I suggest is trying other shapes for the body of this character, as I find its design quite unappealing. Not that you have to, but it would be nice.
