NES Classic Edition Launcher for Windows / Raspberry Pi
-----------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone. Over the past few weeks I have started development of a new launcher for games in conjunction with RetroArch. I decided this program would be based upon the NES Classic Edition menu style since it works well with what I have in mind. This C++ / Open GL program was written primarily to be the main application my NES Raspberry PI would run on boot.
Here are some quick screen grabs:
There is a fair amount of work to do. Here's a checklist of what is coming:
- More animations and transitions
- Options menu is selectable and works as intended
- Save state feature that is similar to the NES Classic Edition
- Ability to sort games similar to the NES Classic Edition
For download is a release of the most current build. I believe I knocked out a lot of bugs, but there could be some still left. The options menu DOES NOT work yet. I did NOT include any roms for obvious reasons.
Controls for Windows:
-Left/Right Keys: Select game
-Up Key: Switches to options menu
-Z Key: Exits the game and exits the options menu
-X Key Or Enter Key: Starts the selected game
-Esc Key: Quits the program

Thank you!
