This looks like some extremely robust code, I'm going to dissect the heck out of it if you don't mind, I'd love to learn from it.

And, unless you have a problem with it I might just... use some of it? Idk if that sounds pretentious or not, sorry if it does

I'm gonna go ahead and say it, AM2R needed this kind of engine in order for me to like it.

I may get a lot of hate for this but AM2R kinda... sucks. Especially for how long it took to make; yeah it's free, and yeah, it's a fan game, but... ten years.. he had ten years to iron out a decent control scheme and aiming system...

I may be getting off topic here but I'm gonna edit this real quick; the problem I have with it is that aiming is slippery. I'll be moving left and right and any slight movement up or down on the left stick moves the aiming "reticule" and I don't think I need to tell you why that's annoying. And aiming with the triggers? What is that? why...

Again, sorry, I know I may be off topic, I just wanted to get my feelings out about the game and I think this forum topic is kind of relevant for that.

Isn't aiming with the triggers how you did it in Super Metroid? Am I remembering wrong??

Oh well, this engine looks good I like it.

It is, I actually just went back and played it; I never actually have. But that doesn't mean it's a good option for modern controls.

I can see why people like the game, I just really cannot get past the controls. The example we have here would've been far superior in my opinion.
