Second, spin jump only breaks flip blocks.
Wrong. Spin jump can break brick blocks. Ever played Super Mario Land 2?
Plus, Super Mario World actually replaced the brick blocks with flip blocks (since brick blocks were planned to return in Super Mario World), so if the replacing would have never happened, then Super Mario World would have been another game where Mario's spinjump can break brick blocks.
But that does not matter, because again, Mario's spin jump can already break brick blocks in Super Mario Land 2, so you're statement is false anyway.
That's a pretty elaborate post for being so wrong. I played Super Mario Land 2 and it didn't have brick blocks. Its blocks didn't flip, but they were the same blocks as in Super Mario World.
But anywho, the creator is entitled to design the game however he likes, though I too find it very weird to break brick blocks with a spin jump.
