Status: Work In Progress


Storyline: Bowser have teleported to Pixelania and stole the "Sacred Pix Orb". Help Mario and Luigi go through various obstacles, stop Bowser, and save Princess Peach.

Screenshots:

Features:
-A transformation between Normal to Pixelated
-Inventory throughout the level as well
-There may be more....

So how is it possible to have 6% done but not a single screenshot? Sounds more like an idea rather than a work in progress to me. Just sayin'.

He literally said nothing about it besides "-A transformation between Normal to Pixelated." At no point did he state or imply that it would be a thing that would effect the entire game world.

Then again, he also hasn't really stated a whole lot of...anything about the game at all. A bit more information would be nice.

I certainly did make an assumption there which could very well be incorrect, but he did imply that this mysterious pixel transformation affects the entire game world, in that he compared it to Super Mario Bros. Dimensions. Off the top of my head, I cannot think of any relevant feature entirely unique to Super Mario Bros. Dimensions aside from Dimenswitching, which does directly affect the entire game world on-command, in way very comparable to how Super Paper Mario's [albeit very flawed] Flipping does. Unless he was comparing this pixel transformation to some other gameplay element notable as fairly unique to Super Mario Bros. Dimensions, there was a very strong implication (and an odd one at that, considering there is no way to have any real idea what this transformation even is).

No, Sevrault compared it to SMB: Dimensions. Sonic did not.

The dimension switching wasn't first in Super Mario Bros Dimensions, so is most of mechanics in fangames.

In any case, your saying that SonicZetrex should "try doing something a bit more original than that" is incredibly silly given that you know nothing about it besides the fact that it is a transformation of some sort.

The only thing I see here is... nothing. Just a tiny logo and a progress bar. Are we sure this isn't just a hoax or something?

I'd like it if there was at least a proof of concept or a tech demo screenshot or something so that we can at least know that this is a real fangame and not just a concept dump or something.

I'm unlocking this topic since SonicZetrex was able to show me that this isn't just "vaporware".

There's quite a bit of graphics clashing in this game, especially with the Mario sprite. The idea for having different environments is a promising idea, but it would be really cool if the music changed depending on whether you were in an 8-bit or 16-bit area.
