I really like the design of that level, looks like there'd be plenty to do in it as well. I hope you keep it that dark in the final version.

@ DJ Coco: Oh. Huh, I liked SM64DS a lot and don't even remotely remember anything about Silver Stars being a thing.

Anyway, I'm liking everything I've been seeing, other than the blackened sprite effects (or at least collected coin/star sparkles, specifically.)

They basically functioned exactly the same as shown here, except there was an animation for collecting a silver star instead of it just disappearing.
