Actually, I think I have an idea, how to code multiple checkpoints very easily, but I haven't tried it out just yet.
As you may know, if you touch the obj_midwayline, it sets the variable global.midwaypoint to 1.
And the obj_levelpanel and obj_mariostart also checks, what number the variable global.midwaypoint has.
My idea is to code duplicates of obj_midwayline and obj_midwayspot, which would set the variable global.midwaypoint to a higher number, and then also edit the other references to the variable global.midwaypoint, so multiple numbers are supported.
What do you think of it? I'm currently implementing it into my fangame.

I did some more stuff today!
-Cape Mario is nearly perfect(He won't fly when when carrying an item)
-Added some codes to the collision event with obj_spinner in EVERY enemy.(This took a hour)
-Raccoon tail now bounces Koopa shells and other enemies that work similar
-Some enemies now can't be affected by Raccon Tail or Cape spin.
-Enemies move in the right direction when killed
-More stuff, bugfixes

Hey SABros, the bug fixes and the line platforms look great, oh and are you planning to release the updated HE6FM whenever you have the chance?

when I played this game, if you don't win the skill crane minigame, you get stuck in that room forever.

Haven't tried out your engine since I'm using Windows 8.1 and Game Maker: Studio. But all the bug fixes/tweaks well improved over time! Kudos on your detailed works!

The link is broken now. Do you happen to still have it because I would love to see the code on a few things?

https://github.com/HelloFangaming/HelloMarioEngine
You need to make a GitHub account, download GitHub for Desktop, then go to the main page that I linked then click "send to desktop" and select a folder. This creates a branch. Now, after you add the stuff to the engine that you want, you can click on the create pull request button on the desktop app and type up a description that says what you added in that pull (for posterity). This will only add to the engine the stuff that you added or changed (such as modifying existing sprites or objects). Then Hello can choose to add it or not. You can see if you click on pull requests that there is a resolved request by someone who added gamepad support to the engine, and I just uploaded a branch with that Fire Nipper enemy I made a couple months back.
