Now that, gives off a foresty visual based on the tilesets and background used/made. I hope to see more of this of what you are developing.

Falcon Punch is the result of the Sun heating fists. It drives the Blue Falcon. Heating causes destruction of water into the pain, where it then hurts, creating rain. Rain creates flowing water in tears, which can then be converted into other forms through more pain.

Testing out my 'walk on mouseclick' movement engine like in Ragnarok Online. Also you can rotate the camera around your character and you're able to zoom in and out.

Thanks! :) Yeah while I've tried to fix the old engines bug I've started to learn c# (with help from a friend) and the usage of the Unity3D Engine and came up with some decent outcomings though it's still not multiplayer. That does not mean that the old SMO is canceled! I just try to recreate it in a 3D environment and hopefully this one will see the lights of the day and I can switch from the old engine and MMF2 to 3D and Unity. And this also does not mean that the game will be fully 3D. I wan't to give it this retro platform feeling. And I will use Sprites instead of models for the characters like in Paper Mario TTYD!

Those restyles of YI are okay, could use a bit of tweaking.

Anyways, working on a new level of my fangame known as Mysterious Islandz: Image

It is world 4-1 of it, and the snowy green hills and ice blocks are made by me.

I'm gonna make this a game. I'll take any suggestion for a name right now.

There's not too much of a story right now. Basically Mario is going to visit Toads or whatever in a treehouse, but something happens where it is blown up and Mario falls down into a cave inhabited by Cochommes, a pig man race living underground. Cochomme is a play on words on two French words, cochon (pig) and homme (man). They have this mysterious warp pipe display place I guess and Mario has to find things in realms that the warp pipes lead to. Blah Blah.

Sounds like an interesting concept. However, I can't help noticing some clashing graphics (some GBA looking sprites [Toad, and that little red guy] with the SMW Mario. I'm a bit too picky with graphics, though, so it shouldn't be a big problem. Anyways, it looks like it is coming along very well! As for a name, well, I am awful at naming so I don't know :P

I realize the graphics clash (:

I've just been focusing on the engine more as of now, since it is built from scratch. I'm mostly using sprites as placeholders

Movement/slope correction and camera engines are done. The graphics still clash but this is just a testmap!

Thwomp boss added. I've decided that bosses are gonna be like what happens in Yoshi's Island, where something is magically "mutated or something".

Basically, he floats around and every so often, he'll stop and shoot his Thwimps off, and then they will retract, after hitting a wall. When a thwimp hits a wall, it drops one of those rock chunk things, which you must pick up and kick at the Thwomp, but yo have to destroy the thwimps to be able to get to his body. The thwimps can be destroyed only when big Thwomp has stopped.
