Development Showcase Rules v1.0These are the local rules for the Development Showcase board. They are not hard to follow, but please read them first before posting, to make sure we have less work and you less problems:
Quote:
1. This board is used for showcasing your projects.
This means you can create topics for the following things here:
- Complete fangames or indie games that you have made
- WIP fangames or indie games that you are making*
- Tools/Utilities that serve the purpose of game making (e.g. level editors, extensions, tutorials, etc.)
*This means you must be making this when you post. Having an idea is NOT "making a game"
2. You must provide sufficient information
Post at least one or more (preferably more) of the following:
- Something playable (demo, full game, engine test, ...)
- Screenshots (at a reasonable resolution and image quality), preferably of the gameplay
Everything that doesn't fit into this board but is still game making/development related goes to the Developer's Discussion forum.
A good idea is to just check out the other topics before making your own, then you get a good idea of what sort of topics are ok to post.
Also, don't be afraid to post your work here.
