If something like that does return, at the very least give us an easier way to find them!

It looks amazing. I don't know what to think of realistic humans being in the game, but besides that, everything is clearly beautiful in my opinion.

I actually really like it. It's bizarre, but I think that is what they were going for.

The Metro Kingdom is great because it seems to suggest that the first few Mario games (Donkey Kong + its sequels, Mario Bros, probably others) took place in this kingdom. Then I guess Mario and Luigi just got tired of being plumbers so they moved to the Mushroom Kingdom as of Super Mario Bros

Hah, that does make sense.

So far I'm loving this game. I almost can't put it down anymore :D
Every corner something new to discover, a new world to explore. This I have missed since at least Mario Galaxy, if not Mario Sunshine.
It has all of the freedom of movement and course design I appreciated about Sunshine and 64, as you can use your repertoire of moves to find your own way to the moons, so no matter what your skill level is you have fun with this game.

To me, it feels like this is the first Mario game for a while that shows Mario showing a lot more expression than usual. But yeah, this game is great! The hype was deserved!

Yeah, the animations are beautiful in this game. I've avoided a lot of footage because I want to be surprised when I do get the game, but from what I've seen the animations are really bouncy and cartoony, which is totally fitting for a Mario game. Just Mario's nose seems so alive and has character. I also really like the bounciness of Princess Peach's dress in the intro, and the way Bowser's outfit moves so naturally on his body.
Also, the individual strands of hair don't really bother me anymore. I thought they looked really awkward, especially on Mario, but I actually like it know.

Just beat the main story. I enjoyed the part where Mario and Borwer tries to win Peach after the battle. When rejected Mario pats Bowser as a way to tell him “I feel you man”. Perhaps the biggest character development for Mario I’ve ever seen.

Not sure this even counts as a spoiler, but I found the best thing ever in the game.

I don't think this game is nearly as fresh as Galaxy 1 (and maybe 2), but it is still a super fun time nonetheless, things that keep me from 100%ing it are the repetitive moons like the note collecting ones, timed challenges without Cappy, ground pounding random areas, etc; I personally don't find it all that fun to do them SO much.

Got the game sooner than I thought I would, and I just beat the main story. My favorite world visually was the lake world. I really loved the glittery water and the mermaids were super cute. I just wish there was a bit more to the it. I feel like it could have been merged with the beach area, since both of those worlds were small and water-based. I also loved Bowser's kingdom. It was not what I was expecting at all (I was expecting the more standard medieval European looking kingdom Bowser normally has which is also cool). It was unique in comparison to what we normally see from Bowser's kingdoms. I also loved that dragon, it was really unexpected. That dragon and the tiny world in which it was fought looked like it came right out of a game like Skyrim or Dark Souls, so having Mario there was really interesting. The final part with Bowser was really cool as well.
I think one of my favorite parts in the game was the New Donk City concert. I only wish there was some sort of indication aside from the song that Pauline new Mario beforehand never mind, it seems she does remember him.

As for the game's story, I liked it! It was simple, but had a bit more depth to it than I was expecting after the first few cutscenes. I also really liked how Bowser had a purpose for stopping at each kingdom other than to destroy it. I thought the ending was really cute, but I was honestly expecting Peach and Mario to get married.... oh well.
