Reports suggest that those that had seen the original contents of the forum either became uncontrollably angry or 2spooped to discuss the details at length. Those of the former group proceeded to break out into a full debate, but things changed after urban legend Karnov was supposedly spotted in the distance. The sour mood of the collective whole quickly died down after Karnov was allegedly seen, with one user reporting "holy **** it's KARNOV". It did not take long for the debate to become neutralized and for many MFGGers to return to their old selves, most of whom were likely off to browse Twitter for memes for the rest of the afternoon. According to the reports, Karnov disappeared shortly afterwards, almost as suddenly as he appeared. They say that wherever Karnov goes, there is peace. Although no one has been able to find tangible proof that Karnov is real, many MFGGers still say that Karnov does, in fact, exist to this day. Despite this, none of them have been able to sufficiently back up their claims.

I honestly don't understand any of this. Who the heck cares about Karnov? It's just a weird Russian game as far as I know that doesn't even make sense. What's the big deal about this stupid Karnov joke? Is it an inside joke for MFGG that I don't get? Is it a long-running gag that makes me the only one who doesn't get it?
