[b]I don't get this [/b] :( Why is this movie getting so much hate? We definitely needed another movie like Wreck-It-Ralph but with Emojis and better (back off Wreck-It Ralph 2) to remind us how great Emojis are for how we've used them for decades and how they've changed the world. There's so many creative emojis like the "meh" emoji, the "high-five" and uhh.....ummm.... The story for this movie has so much charm, action, g-g-good jokes along with a unpredictable story that we have not seen before already. How about those review scores? I mean the Emoji Movie currently has a 10/10 on Metacritic which is TOTALLY insane and let's not forget about Rotten Tomatoes on day one as well: [img]https://19818-presscdn-pagely.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/3d6/d4/ec147383149c128e.png[/img] As of now only 8% of these critics claim it to be bad, which is honestly great Just why do people have such hatred against movie, it hurts to see such a great movie like this to come out this summer and get bashed so much. And for the record, Popeye was gonna be NOTHING like this, nobody wanted that movie, so I just hope Sony makes "The Meme Movie" next because that would automatically be a 11/10.

I never said I loved Wreck-It-Ralph dearly to my heart, I was just comparing it's plot to this movie's one cuz of the huge similarity: main character wants to be different, meets some new friends along the way while others try to stop them, etc;

The difference between Wreck-it Ralph and The Emoji Movie is the passion to make a movie for everyone to enjoy.

There's nothing wrong with liking something that's not necessarily the most popular thing ever. I haven't seen The Emoji Movie, although judging from what I've read, it sounds like an especially uninspired effort. Considering that it's a movie about a "meh" emoticon, that might not be surprising - it's hard to make a stellar production when the star of the show is a symbol of apathy and indifference.

That being said, Wreck It Ralph 2 had a teaser at SDCC so maybe Mario will make his debut in that movie.

Emjoi Movie is a rip off of both movies, Wreck it Ralph and Lego Movie. And you can clearly see that.

If I could throw my hat into the ring, I'm actually excited for the Emoji Movie. I think the plot of it is interesting as far as modern animation movies could go. Sure, so many people hate it, but that doesn't mean they automatically won't like it once they see it. Opinions change. As far as Wreck-it Ralph 2 goes, is anyone else concerned on what Ralph will do in the internet? He nearly destroyed his own game, to be blunt.
