One of the most controversial shows of all time! It's surely left its mark on our culture.

Things like "they took our jobs!" and "oh my god, you killed kenny!" are things you hear occasionally quoted even still today.

What do you think about it?

The political satire is decent, but I'm not fond of sitting through twenty minutes of grossout humor to reach it.

I think the past few seasons have been the best yet! Maybe not in terms of satire, but they have much more coherent narratives, and a compelling story arc each season.

I think I remember first being shown a couple of episodes by a friend when I was 11. It wasn't until quite recently that I really got into it, likely because of its wicked sense of humour and ridiculous episode plots. As I rarely spend my time watching any TV, I've instead watched many of the older seasons online or on DVD. I've only gotten up to season 15 so I don't know what the more recent episodes are like.

It gets even better.

I can't even watch the new episodes, I think it's lost its edge. I might one day catch up but as of right now I'm not a huge fan.
