He sures seems to have a better grasp of how to handle a community than Coco does. I can't speak for Miles, and Vinny is alright; not someone who sees eye to eye with me about certain things but not bad by any means.

That was a rather short discussion.[/quote] y'know your attitude is getting horribly grating. if it needs to be spelled it out it's because MFGG has a lot of problems. today was a huge, glaring spotlight on all of them and how barely anything got done in a timely fashion. no communication, chats were blowing up left and right wondering what was going on, it was a mess. the wrong people got banned, biases were perpetuated. staff needs to change. i am one of the biggest people putting my foot in the door to get this change. MFGG has had too much of an impact on my life for me to just let it go and die so i try to do what i can where i can to keep things enjoyable and interesting. there's only so much i can do as a member and i have no idea how to make games. it's no secret that the staff shares a common mentality regarding many things. this is a terrible idea for organizing a site staff. why bother even holding decisions if you know that everyone is going to agree? and that's the problem. everyone agrees on everything and what they're agreeing on the community doesn't like. this needs to be fixed. nobody is having fun. there's no activity.

Mit has contributed more to this website than most users have, and is one of the only people who actively want to see MFGG get better.

i just want to say it's really concerning for the future of your website when you're handed a group of new members on a silver platter and they have to fight tooth and nail against the staff and other members just to be able to post mit has been very welcoming to myself and my friends, more so than just about anyone else i encountered on mfgg, and i believe he would be similarly welcoming to future new members and encourage growth for mfgg

I think Mit would be qualified as a forum admin. To be frank, I was surprised when I joined the forums and saw he wasn't one. He strikes me as someone who knows when to be goofy and when to be serious when the situation demands it. The only reason I would have against him becoming an admin is that he might be too preoccupied with other projects to properly police the forums. But if that's not an issue, I'm in favor of this.

Don't give throwaway answers.[/quote] I'm not sure how I can elaborate much further. From all the posts I've read, Mit seems to envision a completely different MFGG than the staff does. His very cut-and-dry stance on the return of the PPP is a good example. I don't think staff needs to be a circlejerk, but there does need to be an agreed on vision, you know? Else the whole thing becomes a mess.

Supposedly everyone is already considering the return of the PPP in some form, so how does that differ?

actually the PPP is one of the things i'm still not sure about because i don't know how to go about a balance of younger funposting and older funposting without stepping on toes.

from when i've talked with vinny about the future of MFGG and goals it should be striving for we seemed on the same page for a lot of it.
