I know we got general chat, but a separate TV section would be convenient. :agree: Especially since we got a separate Game chat section. Yes or no? :think:

We barely ever talk about television.

I'm saying no to this one. Topics about television shows are exactly the kind of topics that belong in General Chat, and MFGG hardly ever posts about TV in that forum. I only see one TV-related topic on the first page of topics in the GC. TV-related posts are few and far between on the later pages, too.

So....why not add sub-sections, which are sections within sections. It would be less cluttered, and would save space on the main forums page. (I.E have a misc. Section with forum games and other things (like a trash area for locked topics))

games are related to fan[i]games[/i], so it's not exactly comparable. having a media general board could work better but i think specifically games is fine as it stands.

We talk a lot about video games. If we had a regular influx of topics about TV, then the idea might even be a no-brainer. But I can't recall the last time we had a TV topic.

If, in some alternate reality, MFGGers start making 20 TV-related topics every day, I'd be happy to revisit this issue. It's generally better for communities not to create oodles of forums and subforums for every conceivable interest. Inactive forums don't look very good, and they tend to clutter up the forum listings, making it harder to find the forums that are actually active.

We never ever discuss about TV in MFGG. But, I agree with VinnyVideo, as there's no point of creating an subfourm for select few people when there's General Chat. So, no to that idea.

Like everybody else said, what's the point? We have the General Chat, and also, my TV related post is about a show that is a [b]meme[/b], no less.
