I'm fine with General Talk. :) PPP would just drag away the focus of the forums.

Past PPP events have been prime examples of why we should not bring the PPP back.

PPP sucks and bringing it back would suck.

The issue with a short-term PPP such as is brought back on events like April Fools is that people know it's time-limited and that makes people want to post as much and as stupidly as possible. I do often wonder how a long-term PPP would fare nowadays... probably not good.

There has been much more extensive discussion in the past which incorporated many more perspectives, but even relatively small arguments like this go on for awhile.

Everyone knows the PPP is great. :soveryhappy: It's MFGG's Areopagitica. :thumbsup: To me it was always a place of exuberance and fun and was meant as an opt-in experience. No one forced you to go there. Plus, now that post counts are disabled, there's less incentive to just post non-stop. But alas, I'm an old timer and only occasional visitor to MFGG these days. And Nostalgia is a powerful force. :agree:
