I've been thinking about this lately. It would be a good idea to have foreign language boards for those who does not speak english so they can post in it's own language?

And what would we post on there? Any art should go in the Arts thread, any development progress should go in Developent Showcase, so wouldn't it be posted in the wrong place if it was in this board?

On the other side, we don't have any active members who can't speak english in here...

Eh.. That COULD be a good idea, but I'm really unsure if they would care about Mario Fan Games.

I don't think MFGG's community is large enough to support a lot of foreign language boards. Almost all of our members are able to read and write basic English, and I don't really see the point in using these boards to try to attract new members who don't speak English - after all, nearly all of the games on our site are English-only, and competitions, announcements, and events in other boards would still be in English. Also, a foreign language board would be difficult to moderate.

I completely agree with Vinny. As someone who works for an international company, it is very difficult to moderate/supervise foreign languages since (even if there are wide variety of user who understand multiple languages), it takes too much time and energy to maintain. A lot of language has their own slangs (perhaps offensive/insulting) that making it even harder to comprehend.
