With MFGG3 being the one time and place where forum and mainsite accounts will become one, I was wondering if we could add some kind of flavor to the games on there. For instance, if a game receives a Game of the Month award on the forums, a badge will appear next to its name on the mainsite. Something optional to do would be to click it to be taken to its respective topic. What I have below here is a very sloppy mockup to show what I mean. Of course, Game of the Year awards could be handed out as well, but possibly just for the "Best Game Overall" category. This is a great idea! It's something I had in mind also. The only problem I have is with your example graphic -- Spoopy Maryo was GOTY

This is a good idea. I'd love for GOTM/GOTY games to be recognized on the mainsite.

This is actually a great idea, however I am not too fond of the text saying "game of the month", etc. next to the game title. In fact that can be slightly distracting. Instead leave a badge next to the game's title and description will be displayed upon mouseover.

That's a great idea. It's just the interface that needs work lol. But we have blueprints for what games look like on the new main site lying around anyway, so might want to experiment with that. I'd personally just put the badge on there without the text and only show it on Mouse Over.

I think just put a larger version of the GotM badge we currently have. Still, probably not worth touching until Site 3.0 because how games look will probably be quite different and I'd assume there'll be more room for information such as that. Also, is game of the year a thing?

Not yet. I planned to introduce it alongside Game of the Month but never got around to making a banner, which is why it never really came to be outside the MFGG Awards

Yeah we won't do it until MFGG3 when the look will be totally overhauled.
