yea, this is the part i agree with wholeheartedly. the farther down we stick community the less importance it holds and one thing MFGG really needs to do is smoothen out its community-centered aspects.
this is only vaguely related but what if the main site was shifted to have a heavier focus on logging the development of games, and the forums were more focused on community events? you can still make threads for game development on the boards of course, but the main site could get more use if it was reworked to have more robust pages for games that logged games as they were being developed, giving each game submission its own "microforum" to promote individual discussion. kinda like what steam does.
