Get ready for the most intense action game you will probably ever play. As the now famous Samus Aran, you return to Zebes to explore familiar and unfamiliar places in Super Metroid. |

The game begins with an incredible beginning sequence. You receive a distress signal from Ceres station and quickly fly there in your spaceship. The station appears to be deserted. No one is in the building. The halls are empty. All is quiet, too quiet. You finally see some men lying on the floor. Something bad has happened.  An attack was made, but no one has recently left Ceres station. Where's the enemy? You find the baby Metroid you left at Ceres station, but suddenly, Ridley appears and starts attacking you! After a tense battle with this hideous creature, he will escape Ceres with the Metroid hatchling and the the self-destruct sequence for Ceres will be initiated. Now's the time to book it! |

 Run back to where you entered the station before time runs out. The building will begin to rock back and forth as it destructs itself, so be careful on the final leg of your escape. Knowing Metroid activity has resurfaced, you fly to planet Zebes. Things have changed somewhat since the last time you were there. The weather is different, and an awkward silence fills the atmosphere, creating a sense of deadness. |

 Run to the left of the spaceship and enter a door to get out of the rain. Within this mysterious planet, you will battle new lifeforms beyond your wildest nightmares. It's time for Samus to brave yet another mission, so you'll need to find the morphing ball powerup once again. The journey to find the new hideout of your old foe, the Mother Brain, only begins as you seek out missiles, defeat alien creatures of all shapes, sizes, and forms, and explore new areas and caverns beneath the crust of Zebes. Samus's mission will be tough, but a woman's gotta do what a woman's gotta do!  The galaxy is at peace. |

Bottom line, this game is a must-have. Period. The incredible mix of eerie music, suspense, and exploration give the game a truly epic, adventure feel. The game is very original. Not many games are like the Metroid series. Incredible fun! You'll love this game dearly. Your game-heart will beat because of it. |
