Sweet! This is gonna be fun once all the cool stuff is implemented. I like what you did with the stripes - don't forget to scale the vertices towards the end of the snake ;)

finally finished all of the player's possible movements. now I should actually think up some actual puzzles to make an actual game..

That's unfortunate. If you guys change your mind, you're welcome to rejoin. I'll just strikethru your entry for now.

Also simply updating to say you didn't get a chance to make significant progress is ok too. The idea behind progress updates is to keep you thinking about your project instead of rushing it last minute.

As for my update, I've decided to start my game over from the ground up with a new concept. Introducing, Mega S.N.A.K.E.

In Mega S.N.A.K.E. you control a giant mechanical mobile home for survivors of some apocalyptic event. As you rescue survivors, your home increases in size. Like a standard game of snake, if you collide with your body, you lose. The snake will follow your cursor and can travel 360 degrees.

To spice things up I was thinking of also letting snakey shoot. I was also thinking of making the view not be confined to a single screen. It may be problematic if you cannot see your entire body at once though. What's your take, chat?

Yet another week has gone by where I was unable to get anything done. I'm pretty much dropping out at this point, but hopefully now I can deliver something more in the original scope I planned without deadlines.

Say, Syaxamaphone. It seem that I forgot to formally enter the competition; is it possible for me to enter now? I haven't been able to start working until the 6th, but I'm going full throttle at the moment.

The game's name is currently "Scaling Snake Cavern".

That looks great magnemania and it's nice to see you haven't dropped out Syax.

Seeing people drop out was very demotivating so I spent a week doing other stuff instead of working on my entry. I'm back in so I miight need a few more days, maybe even just one extra day.
