I don't have a concrete idea yet. I think I'll go for some kind of 3D isometric game with pixel art... and snakes. Though, I'm still open to teaming up with anyone as a coder.

Nice. Reminds me a lot of Snake Pass.
How would you want me to model that, though? That looks like something that'd I use code for to model, lol. Combining vertices and stuff.

so far I've got a little bit of overworld graphic done and some walkin' around. I'm really not feelin' this project so I might start over with a new idea or drop out.

Implemented the snake deformation for turns.

Now I just gotta code the less important mechanics and puzzles.

Oh yeah, we don't have a musician soo the game is probably gonna be silent unless someone wants to make an n64-ish jungle theme. Coco's in charge of the art side so whoever is interested can ask him for more info about the theme.

That looks really cool! Nice to see you got the mesh deformation working.
I modelled the collectibles already. I should be able to send you the remaining main objects today or tomorrow, too.

Project looks promising but it doesn't look like it'd take advantage of the snake theme much. Might want to come up with a cool concept first.

Thanks DJ. I felt the same, to make a game where even if the visuals changed, it would still feel like a snake-themed game.

Actually I got a pretty nifty idea last night so maybe I'm still in this. I'll update my entry once I've got the plan a little more fleshed out.

The player can only move one tile at a time. Right now the snake model snaps to position if the player moves too fast, but it'll be buffered later.
