Its that time again! This time, the theme is
Snakes, (or Cobrats if you're from Subcon). This time I'm going to try shaking things up a bit. Before the competition officially begins, we'll be going through a
registration phase, a one-week period where you have time to get your teams together and decide what you want to do. Once the registration deadline has passed, we go on to a four-week
build phase where you make the game. At this point, you can submit your finished game at anytime.
During the build phase, if your game is not yet submitted, you'll be required to post a
weekly development update every Saturday or Sunday. At least one screenshot is encouraged, but it can be just text or a video, or even a demo! If you miss a development update, you will no longer be eligible to submit (please make contact with me over the weekend if personal matters interfere and this deadline can be extended).
What does my game require to be eligible for the Super Comp?-To Be Functioning
-At least two custom sprites with two frames of animation each
-A custom engine, made in any programming language or program of your choosing
-either one custom sound effect
or song
-Games that you have been working on before the competition's registration phase has started are not eligible
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posting your concept:-Any time during the registration phase, you need to post your project name and concept. The concept should be a short description about the kind of game you plan to make. Key points could be genre, main characters, story or how you plan to incorporate the theme. This needs to be posted before the end of the registration phase (April 15) to be eligible to participate in the comp.

To sign up, post the members of your team (From 1 to however many you like), their role in the project and the project's name (does not have to be game name if you're not sure yet).
As usual, theme is super lenient, simply having a snake enemy in the game is good enough, but I would love to see what interesting concepts you can come up with!
Rules/deadlines are not super rigid, just keep me in the loop if you're going to miss something and it will probably be fine.
