Welcome, Detectives, to the Watari Tower. You have been collected here, as you are all suspected of being the world criminal known as Kira. The owner of this establishment, L, is certain that Kira is here and will stop at nothing to find him. Keep your wits about you, as this man has made it clear that he will be brash and quick to destroy any opposition to him, as evidenced here. I hope as many of you as possible will escape from this facility alive. As a precaution, everyone will be equipped with a standard Motorcycle Helmet so that you are not able to be killed by Kira, who L has determined needs your face and true name to kill. RULES OF PLAY 1. Each day will last 24 hours, unless somehow everybody is online and we are able to progress more quickly. Voting is by plurality, and if there’s a tie, then no one is lynched. Living players with applicable abilities can choose to use them by privately messaging the host. 3. There are only three methods of communication approved by the game master: - Posting in the main thread. [Likely this one to stop clutter.] - Private messaging between a player and the host. [How you submit night actions.] - Private messaging between the players, with or without the host attached. [A great way to divulge information!] 5. Questions for the host can be asked either here or via private message. 6. I doubt this needs to be said, but players caught breaking rules may be subject to warnings and then penalties such as loss of in-game abilities or ejection from the game. 7. I enjoy doing these, but I also wasn't sure I'd be able to commit to participating every day, since my real-life schedule looks pretty busy on Wednesday and Saturday. |
