A -> Scorching Ray against someone who utilizes heat? That would be a great idea if not for the fact that it isn't a great idea at all. B -> You are not close enough to your enemy use SHOUT effectively. Nonetheless, she heard you loud and clear. Whoops. C -> Although magicians can easily detect them, that does not mean that the ability to do so is [i]passive[/i]. A simple scrying or identify spell is all you need. But Stella is not expecting Karrie's presence, so you're good. Even if she was, you recall a certain abjuration spell that would be perfect for that scenario. D -> You attempt to use teleportation to pull a tactical maneuver. Alas, Stella is an experienced sorcerer, and there's nothing to stop her from setting herself on fire or casting an area of effect spell, making your pincer attack useless.
