From what I was told, I think they just stack, so doing it once is fine.

Yes, they stack. So like how Kritter has the x2 next to his sprite badges you would have an x2 next to your Egg Hunt badge if you post inside two eggs. If you post in all 5 it will be x5. Maybe we could do a separate badge for all complete.

A separate badge would probably make me sad, unless we can do another contest like this in 2015 and forth. But thank god, I can say goodbye for now.

what about giving each egg its own separate badge? I dunno how practical it'd be but it'd give them all more meaning/"value", I'd think

That would mean it'd be possible to win 5 badges at once, and that would look messy. Trust me, I had an idea like this, but I thought it'd look even messier with those users who have like 5 rows of badges.

How about just a stacking badge that changes to a more fancy badge if you get X5? Kind of like how the submitter badge changes to super submitter after a set number of mainsite submissions.

Sounds like a good idea, but in case we keep making this contest every year, it'd be possible to stack up more than 5.

or we could do what Kritter suggested, but make them year specific like the MFGG awards.

Or just have 2 "Egg Badges" that stack, to save on yearly badge-bloat. ie. Easter Egg Participant badge, and Easter Egg Champion badge, both of which stack per year. So at the end of year 2, if you've solved all 5 riddles or whatever they do that year, you'd have 10x Participant Badges and 2x Champion Badges.

Just... next year, less puzzles, more fun.
