Post subject:  Submit-It Forum Rules
Welcome to the Submit-It forum.

What is it?
After repeatedly getting informed of bugs when uploading or updating user content on the mainsite and repeated attempts to fix this, yet these reports not stopping, we decided to bring back this forum from like 10 years ago where you can come here as an alternative way to handle your submissions.

How do I do it?
  • You must have attempted to do the submission or update via the mainsite without success.
  • You must have your forum profile linked to your mainsite profile to prevent abuse (you can do this in your User CP)
  • Create a new thread in this forum
  • Thread titles contain the submission name
  • Describe the error you received when you tried to submit/update on the mainsite.
  • For new submissions copy and paste the right one of the following templates into your thread, then fill it out:

  • For updating a submission please give us a link to the submission and only give the details you want to have replaced.
  • Please use external hosting for all uploaded files if possible, otherwise use the attachment system. Attachments will be deleted after the submission has been handled

What will happen next?
  • Site Staff will look at your submission and usually upload it to the mainsite in your name.
  • If something is obviously wrong with your submission or important information is missing, Site Staff can post in this topic to inform you of this before they upload it to the mainsite
  • The topic in question will then be removed from this forum as a sign that it has been handled.
  • If a submission is classified as spam, it will just be removed without upload to the mainsite
  • If a submission thread is missing relevant information even after staff informed you of this, or otherwise violates the above rules or overall forum rules, it will also be removed without upload to the mainsite

Any topics that do not contain either a submission or a submission update will be removed and the creator will receive warn points!
