Tetris and Bomberman are the only two games I ever bought from the eShop. Both excellent though but you kind of know what you're in for with them.

Well considering they announced that they'll be shutting down in 2019, I think its safe to assume a bit over 1.

What are ROMs of Wiiware games like?
Which ones will no one get to play again if they get removed?

Wiiware and VC games can be extracted and re-installed with a softmodded system. Emulation works too. It's been like this for a long time.

I wouldn't worry too much about games getting lost forever. The Wii got hit pretty hard by piracy. That means most of the roms are floating out in cyberspace somewhere. And there are still 2 years for archival communities to pick up the strays.
In 2019 when they become abandonware, it should be easier for more websites to justify hosting them.
