Wow I actually got pretty hype watching the trailer knowing that I could play these games on the Switch Of course Capcom had to fuck it up

If I recall correctly, isn't that Disney game collection also not for the Switch? You reckon Capcom is holding something against Nintendo?

It'd be weird if they were, considering Ultra Street Fighter II just released for the Switch. Though they could be jealous that Mega Man was treated with infinitely more dignity in Smash Bros. than he has been for years

I think the issue comes down to the proper devs (the ones Capcom contracted) of this collection not having Switch dev tools. I don't know if there's some outright Nintendo spite (otherwise they'd migrate the Monster Hunter series back from Nintendo), but I think I saw a Capcom interview recently which boiled down to Capcom holding future Switch development hostage based on the sales of that overpriced SF2 port.

my thoughts exactly, dustin. i remember thinking a while back how i wished 9 and 10 were on pc, anyhow, so this fulfills past me's wish. if nothing else, i might just grab this one for my xbone.
