I wish they would have saved the Metroid Prime 4 announcement until they actually had something to show. Sure I'm excited for it, but it was literally just a logo. The Mario Odyssey trailer was great, though.

Well, now I see why AM2R got C&D'd. NEW 2.5D remake/reboot of Metroid 2 for 3DS.

So THAT'S why They took off Metroid 2 remake. That looks so awesome. I wanted to see a 3d looking 2d Metroid game like this.

Animal crossing for switch would have made this perfect. But I'm still very happy with what I saw and I'm glad I didn't waste my money on my impulsive purchase of a switch

Also, it's a LITERAL Metroidvania, it's developed by Mercurysteam, who also made Lords of Shadow.

Is it just me, or does the new Yoshi game look WORSE than Woolly World? I don't think the style they're going for is working, though it's early days I suppose. I'm a bit disappointed that they're still going with 2D Platformers though, would've loved to see a take on a 3D Kirby game for example.

The trailer was great too even if it's just pre-rendered xP needless to say, Super mario odyssey looks fantastic and looks like what i've been wanting from a mainstream Mario game for years now. I can't wait to dive into the new world(s) and run around like i did back on Mario 64

Interesting take on it, in my opinion.

Graphically though I just think it looks balls.

I think it is pretty charming. Wooly world was visually more impressive (from what we have seen of the new game), but I still think this new style captures the charm and childishness of yoshi very well.

Remember when Yoshi games had good music And by that I mean remember the [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HN5MjZPfbI][i]one[/i] Yoshi game[/url] that had good music Why don't we ever get music like that anymore
