Well my novel idea is to not comment or speculate on the game until I see it in motion. If it exists and looks bad then I won't buy it, if it looks super fun then that's great! If it doesn't exist then I just saved myself a bunch of time by not arguing about it.

I'd be concerned if the exploration was only 35% of the game, at 20 hours. That's a lot of time spent on turn based battles.

I love battles and bosses and what not in RPGs, but if the combat is 65%, the battles better be pretty involved with lots of enemies.

You're not the only one who came to the realization, my friend. I recall that someone on the DK Vine thought of the same conclusion.

I would be ok with that, as somebody who doesn't actually hate the Rabbids games simply because they exist and because everyone else hates them. I have some fond memories of playing the Raving Rabbids series, in fact Rayman Raving Rabbids was one of the games my wife and I got with the Wii when it launched and it was amazing fun. Rabbids Go Home was also actually a really unique and fun game. I would obviously prefer Rayman though.

These images and press releases look pretty good! It's nice to see Ubisoft pushing the envelope for what can be done with the Mario franchise. They seem to be very self-aware of how this isn't a "conservative" Mario game. I'm kinda surprised Nintendo let them put the word "bad*ss" on an official piece of promotional art for an officially-licensed Mario game. And describing Princess Peach, of all pople. It's nothing terribly inappropriate in the grand scheme of things, but it still kinda reminds me of all of the hilariously out-of-place swearing in Shadow the Hedgehog. Who knows, maybe that's exactly what they were going for.

Well, I gotta give them credit for thinking outside the box! This certainly isn't the first franchise I'd think of combining with the Mario series, but I'm not going to judge the game until I actually play it.

I used to play Raymond's Raving Rabbids a lot when i was little, so honestly I'm kind of excited for this lol. I agree that rabbids have become a bit too much, sort of like minions, but I actually don't really hate them. I had a lot of fun with the first two Raving Rabbids games. This game looks really really weird, and I'm all for that!

Ugh. What a filthy specimen of an abomination we've got here. And why in the world are there curse words in a Mario game?

Because, as has been addressed numerous times, they're (supposedly) internal Powerpoint slides from Ubisoft that weren't meant to be seen by the public, we were never meant to see the curse words.

I'm not sure what to think about this, honestly lol. But it'll probably be fun to play? Anything new with Mario is bound to be good, even if it's got the 2008 Minions in it.
