Would you get a Phillips-CDi for 600 bucks to add it to your console collection?

Out of curiosity, are there any MFGGers who are crazy about video game collecting? Dunno if its THAT worth it to get every single console in existance imo.

Somewhat? Not so much now, but I used to enjoy the hunt for hidden gems sold cheaply at second hand stores, markets or pawn shops. Got a good library of consoles and games amassed.

- Commodore 64 (tape and disk)
- Vic 20
- Atari 2600
- Atari Lynx
- Sega Master System
- Sega Mega Drive / Genesis
- Sega Game Gear
- Sega Saturn
- Sega Dreamcast
- PS1
- PS2
- PS3
- PSP
- Xbox
- NES
- SNES
- N64
- Gamecube
- Wii
- Wii U
- Switch
- Gameboy
- Gameboy Colour
- Gameboy Advance
- DS + DSLite
- 3DS
- A couple of old Game & Watches

Still plenty I'd like to get but not much in the way of time or money. Also got a good collection of old boxed PC games.

Not at all. I don't have the money and investment to.do it.

If you consider having Tengen Tetris NES complete in box, then count me in. I got lucky with that one, received it from a relative.

Otherwise, I'm not actively seeking out games to buy. So I'm not actively collecting, but it's something I like to do.

Collector, yes.
Of good games that I want to play, yes.
$600 for a Cdi that most likely can't even function given that so many of them don't work?
..nah.

I'm not anymore, but I used to be a mild collector.

As of right now, I have:
  • Atari 2600
  • NES
  • Sega Genesis
  • SNES
  • PSX
  • Wii
  • Wii U
  • Switch

I used to have N64 and GCN of course. I also have an Atari 2600 and a Colecovision plug-and-play.

My bedsheets are Skyward Sword, and I have a whole bunch of Nintendo and other figures in the box.

I've stopped collecting though; it's really not worth the money at all.

I have a Virtual Boy, but I don't know if it counts as a collector thing since we actually got it when it came out and was the "hot new thing" and just never sold it. Have a fair few games for it, including Wario Land and the criminally-underrated Teleroboxer.

I usually like to play my games though, not look at them.

Falcon Punch is the result of the Sun heating fists. It drives the Blue Falcon. Heating causes destruction of water into the pain, where it then hurts, creating rain. Rain creates flowing water in tears, which can then be converted into other forms through more pain.

I've been investing in my GBA collection lately.

I even modded myself an AGB-101 for that glorious backlight in the horizontal form factor.

Currently playing through Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and also playing some FE8 and AW2 on the side (because they are awesome).
