Every had one of those games?

My game was Sonic 06. Yes, you heard me. I said it. I like 06, mostly because I like glitches in video games. The models were nicely made, graphics were good, music was fantastic, I even liked the 4Kids voices too. Shame how not many people like it.

Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom immediately comes to mind. I loved this game during my childhood but for the longest time I was hesitant to play it, since a lot of nostalgic games ended up being disappointing in the past. In autumn of last year, I decided to give it a shot after all, and I was very pleasantly surprised; in fact, I'd go as far as saying this is my favorite 3D platformer, as well as being in my top 3 games overall. I would go into detail about what makes this game so good, but I would need to write multiple paragraphs about it and I don't feel like doing that right now, but the most important aspect to me is how much depth the game, surprisingly, has. It's mostly in terms of speedrun tricks like Cruise Boosting, shortcuts and boss triggers (which sounds scary but it's actually very manageable with this game's generous physics), and it allows me to play the game at an entirely different level, while still being extremely fun (I don't even like speedrunning myself but performing these tricks is still extremely fun and satisfying).
Kudos to Heavy Iron Studios for creating this gem.

Counting aside the glitches, Sonic 2006 has lots of potential with great visuals and sound, and fantastic cinematics.

The CD-i Zeldas, the Sonic Boom series and Lego games are pretty good to me although I didn't expect to like them as much as I did or in the same way I thought I would, but I hardly dislike the games I play anyways

i always thought that super rolling mario was going to be too inaccurate to rolling mario physics as i had come to known them in obscure fangames up to that point in time, but it wound up blowing me away and now i think super rolling mario is one of the single greatest games to ever grace this site from its infancy to the present day

Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom

Yeah I'd say this. It was a good game. I want to revisit it.

Breath of the Wild

Lol, I know everyone hyped it up, but the footage shown really didn't convince me. Even my initial impression playing the game wasn't good. But after some time the game clicked and it became really hard to put down.

Besides that, the Sonic Boom games were better than expected. Not good, but nowhere near "worse than 06".

Cliax Codec is a combination of top-down and third-person shooter. The gameplay will blend platforming, puzzle and shmup elements together to create a unique gameplay experience. You will take control of four playable characters which rise against a team that seemingly wants to take over the world - but are their motives really that cliché, or are there deeper motives behind their actions?

But really I don't think I ever played a game I thought looked bad. I only get games I'm interested in.

World of Warcraft. Thought it looked awful and didn't get the hype, then I played it solid for something like 5 or 6 years.

-Chrono Trigger. Back when the DS remake came out, I thought I wouldn't enjoy it since I didn't tolerate Final Fantasies either (don't worry, I like those now too; this was mostly an age thing). But I got CT DS for a birthday and really enjoyed it, most of all because it didn't have obnoxious randomized encounters unlike FF.
-Rocket League. I don't do any real PC gaming and sports games aren't up my ally. However, I tried it on a friend's computer, and I immediately changed my tune. Also why I got a cheap used Steam Controller.
-Super Smash Bros. Melee, as a competitive game. Seeing videos of tournament play just made my brain mush because it just looked like twitchy spasms to me and I've heard horror stories of competitive people being Nazis with game rules with friends... but after starting with just competitive RULES with friends (4 stock, no items) it totally clicked with me and I started getting much more into it. Also how I discovered and fell in love with Project M.

Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. (Though I got Emerald.)
I was pissed at the removing the linking from Gold/Silver. And I wasn't a fan of some of the Pokemon...but of course I loved it.

sonic advance 3, although it was more so that i didn't enjoy it during my childhood, then came back 10 years later to discover that yea, it was actually pretty good.

the game definitely has flaws, for sure, (level design and enemy placement, for instance) but one of the things i enjoyed during my replaythrough was how explorative the game feels. the search for the chao in each zone along with each of the unique partner combinations really helped to give the game a more open feeling, despite the fact that it can be just as linear as the previous games in the advance series if you choose to make it so. in fact, i found myself surprised at how nuanced some of the partner combinations felt. it made them fun to mess around with, and i was pleasantly surprised even further to discover that each combination had some sort of use, no matter how niche that use seemed.

maybe this is unrealistic, but i'd love to see sonic team try to build on the elements that worked well in advance 3 sometime. there's serious untapped potential that, if refined and ironed out, could be made into an excellent sonic game.

Believe it or not, a much younger version of myself rented the original Gamecube Version of Wind Waker, and lost interest immediately after realizing that there was no jump button. In spite of the fact that Zelda is currently my second favorite video game franchise in existence, I didn't even believe that a game where you couldn't jump at will could possibly be fun until I played Twilight Princess.

No...no......I'm not kidding.........

Doom 2016.

But alas it (Single player) turned out to be some of the most fun I've had with an FPS in years.
