You guys may or may not know that, unlike other Mario characters, reactions towards Waluigi from fans and critics alike have been mixed. Do you guys have mixed opinions on him too? I think he's a cool guy, despite his suit being color purple. I'd really like him to have his own game someday. So sick of seeing him appearing only in sport titles. EDIT: Whoops! Wrong video.

He was originally made to only appear in sports or racing spinoffs, but it would be awesome to see him in a big title someday... So he's pointless for now

Back when Waluigi was first introduced to the world I wanted to make a Waluigi fansite because I thought he was just that awesome. I remember gathering every image from Mario Tennis and Mario Party 3 that I could find, wav files from the games and a bunch of other things and building a shoddy HTML website but I never ended up finishing it. I would absolutely love to see him take a larger role in a game, like how he and Wario had that amazing opening cutscene for Mario Power Tennis for the Gamecube. I would [b]love[/b] to see a mainstream Mario game with Wario and Waluigi as the antagonists, myself. MFGG seems to have Waluigi Fever; I never had it myself (probably due to me never owning a game he was in? Hell, do I own a game he was in [b]now?[/b]) but I don't dislike him. He seems necessary enough at least, maybe even pretty neat. Despite me not being a Waluigi fanboy, I have a figure of him on my desk haha.

It's amazing how Nintendo hasn't really done [i]anything[/i] to take advantage of his character. The easiest thing that could have been done so far is at least make a Mario & Luigi game with Wario and Waluigi as playable partners. So far they've had the babies and Bowser... You'd think the W's would be the next logical progression, but nope. It almost seems like Nintendo wants to kill the characters off.

He's an interesting guy, and he's obtained quite the list of memes in the years since his debut. Shame they haven't done much with him, though. (Then again, they don't do much with [i]anyone[/i] they've introduced.)

Waluigi has a lot of unrealized potential. Nintendo hasn't done a good job of exploring him as a character - they've mostly used him as another guy to fill out the roster of the racing, sports, and party games. I'd love to see an official game in the mold of Psycho Waluigi that gave him a prominent role and revealed more about his personality and backstory.

I'd love to see him appear more often, as he honestly has more personality than most of the Mario crew. Still though, even if he only appears in spin offs, he isn't pointless. He has his place as a character and hes a very iconic one now. But I suppose having him appear in at least one non spin off game would help.

waluigi is objectively the best video game character

There are no waluigi games because Miyamoto does not like to use characters that are not his in his video games, Waluigi is from an employee (I think dead) of Camelot

While I like Wario better, Waluigi is pretty legit and hilarious. Would love to see him get a bigger role somewhere. I think it'd be pretty easy to throw Waluigi in a mainline Mario or Wario game [i]somewhere[/i]. Heck, throw him in the next WarioWare, it's practically effortless to do so.

He's a fun guy and all, but you should never attempt to model your own personality around his narcissistic, self-pitying attitude in an attempt to make everyone love you, motivated by the fact that Waluigi is such a beloved character in the fanbase. I mean, not that I ever tried doing anything like that with disastrous results, of course. Why, that would have been really [i]silly[/i] and downright [i]foolish[/i] of me...
