I, for one, am [b]extremely[/b] excited for this!! I'm gonna fight the crowd to try and land a Switch and a copy of this tonight.

Picked up my preordered Switch last night and a copy of the game (plus a few other things like extra joycons and a few amiibos), but I won't be able to sink my teeth into it until the weekend. The game has a 98 metascore based on 59 critics, which is almost unheard of.

My Switch and BotW got here today (a day earlier than expected). I'm still in the near-beginning bits, but I'm enjoying it and the system so far.

Frankly, no footage could really get me excited for this game yet. I was afraid the whole thing would be a big world of nothing, but judging by that insanely high metacritic score, that doesn't seem to be the case at all. I'm really glad this game did indeed turn out to be as good as expected by everyone. Will be picking it up tomorrow along with a copy of Fast RMX. At least I hope I'll get my Switch tomorrow. I'm ready to let this game convince me too that it is indeed this awesome.

I don't have a Switch yet, but this is the kind of thing that could entice me into buying one. From what I can tell, Breath of the Wild is exactly what the Zelda series needed.

I'm officially in line for the Switch. I've paid for a pro controller and BotW, and I pre ordered the Binding of Isaac

Big line? I haven't heard much about these things flying off shelves but Nintendo does like to limit their supplies. At the midnight launch last night there wasn't really that many people there. Bomberman was sold out mainly because apparently the stores were given so few units.

There's only 7 units. I'm one of 7 people here, if anyone else shows up they get turned away.

I need a switch first lol but I have money saved up now, I'll just have to wait since I didn't preorder it :/ This game is probably my most anticipated on the switch so far, along with Mario Odyssey.

I just played the whole full game. Was fun, but unfortunately it seemed to be a little bland and easy. Real problem with is the final boss, and how easy is it to beat. The final boss was [ispoiler]pretty disappointing, espically with it being literal hack n slash and simple arrow shooting for first half, and what's the point of having that large amount of health when you have these 4 guys shooting laser beams him directly, taking half of his health? Additionally, the second part was very easy as you can easily run around him waiting for weak spot to appear without getting any damage. I also hated the fact they used "The eye is the weak spot" cliche again for final boss' final hit, it's getting old already. I don't like how the Enraged Ganon literally looks like some sort a millipede with a terminator face slapped on, with a single massive buffed up arm.[/ispoiler]

I accidentally caught a glimpse of some of that spoiler stuff last night and I was kinda upset. Please in the future consider the spoiler tags. I got it! I played it briefly last night, I'll check it out more after work.

My postal service apparently can't deliver a game that was dispatched on [u]Tuesday[/u] from a city just 170 km from my home in time for release (standard delivery time for this distance is usually one day). Now I have to wait until Monday or more. I will have to avoid the internet until then and the fact that half the YT channels I follow started posting Zelda content immediately really doesn't help. I'm very, very bitter. :shifty:

Just started playing and I'd say it's gorgeous. I am not a really good gamer (still trying getting used to the camera since you have to use right analog stick to control it). I died several times (falling off the cliff because I forget to turn the camera to catch a blind cliff.

Love the game so far, and how hard it can be. I was riding along on a horse, and before I knew it, I'm being chased by a Hinox, Guardian, and a Keese swarm. Needless to say, I died.

Same here. Loved it so far, I have tamed 2 horses and I died at least 20 times after clearing 8 shrines. [ispoiler]Oh yeah look out and pay attention for people on the road, if they goes by the name "traveler" and they just stand there or crying, there's a good chance that's a Ganon's minion (and they can teleport and do attacks that can take away 3 hearts).[/ispoiler]
