This looks amazing, glad they are taking the gameplay and graphics back to the 16-Bit retro days.

i don't think he hasn't once not done that in any sonic game.....i mean ALL of them.

In some games the prisoning animals in robots parts aren't mentioned, like in Sonic Adventure.

Eggman capturing animals and using them for robots was both a game play mechanic and a pivotal plot point in Amy and E102's stories. Did you even play the game?

It's also in Adventure 2, but you only see Eggman robots in the pyramid stages.

I am being 100% honest....i am not excited :huh:
Yeah....i have a saying "The game can be good,but i will still hate it". I think it looks like Classic pandering,and that is getting old, SEGA.[ I am even LESS hyped over project 2017, because it looks like yet another generations . :shifty: I Hated generations, a LOT. It was just a nostalga fueled, dull, forgettable, and worst of all, not fun. :nope:

I feel the same way, Maybe if we're lucky they'll give us tons of characters to play as this time and not make is some bland boost to win game.

Not true, mate. Don't speak for everyone.

Since Unleashed, every new Sonic game released (minus Sonic 4 Episode 2 and Sonic Boom; the former has Tails and the latter wasn't made by Sonic Team) had the blue hedgehog as the sole playable character. After 8 years of Sola Sonica syndrome, some people are starting to get tired of it; they'd love for Sonic Team to experiment with multiple playable characters and let characters like Tails, Knuckles, and the rest share the spotlight again after staying in the sidelines for so long.

I mean its one thing to be sarcastic and mean towards someone's preferences but also being wrong???

They go a bit overboard sometimes, but imo getting to be a bunch of different characters is one of the best things about early Sonic games and there's a ton of fans who still want that. Why do you gotta be a hater?

I think Sonic Before the Sequel got it best. Each Zone forcibly alternated between being played as Sonic or Tails, so it gave the player variety without saying, "We have absolutely no vision, so we're just giving you as many extraneous options as possible!"

My favorite was actually Sonic 3 & Knuckles where you had the option of tackling the game as either Sonic, Tails or Knuckles, each with their own play style. I thought this was multiple Sonic characters at its most optimal form.

I kinda liked it the way it was in Advance 3 with the tag team action.
If it's done like in Heroes or 06, however, then I'll gladly accept playing as solely Sonic
