I mean it would be a really cool server with Kitpvp, Factions, Creative and some other stuff. It won't just be regular survival. But I need to know who would join, who thinks they can be a good mod/admin. (PM me your info and experience and we can talk) What to add and other things aswell. Also we'd need a name I'd say MFGGCraft. But I don't think that name is all that great it should be something else. The Server would also be 24/7 and at least over 20 slots. Ok everyone I got some news. So the server is officially in the works! :D It's actually already up but It's basically in alpha. (I got to add more plugins and add permissions to players, finish spawn and configure some other stuff.) Feel free to PM me about any details about the server. Or for a Mod Application. But if we are talking about MFGG (in this context), it is conflicted with "de facto" (in fact) because the people using that term (in their topic titles) to promote their ideas (ex: Skype topic, Deviantart group, and well now, the proposed Minecraft server) are not representative of the decisions made by the administration whether or not to accept ideas pitched in by certain users. TL;DR: It is not a vague term at all, but it is definitely used by those who are not staff members to (intentionally or not) misrepresent that their ideas are sanctioned by the staff to put it in simpler terms.

I prefer default, normal servers where everyone starts in the same place. This one is just weird.

I quit playing Minecraft awhile ago, but I might give this a go.

Half the fun of Minecraft is other people seeing your stuff in survival / creative. If you spawn somewhere random, with such a low population, you could potentially build a masterpiece and nobody would ever see it.

not to mention random spawn lags the entire server. i'll talk to nick about making, say, 4 starting villages you can pick, in addition to the random spawn. you'd spawn and then you could move out from there.

How about just 1 starting village, OR random spawns? Seems like best of both worlds without overcomplicating it.
