IT was great and I recommend you see it whether you read the book and saw the miniseries or not. What did y'all think?

Potential spoilers I guess. [spoiler]I saw it (haha) a few days ago and it was... okay, I suppose. I really liked the acting, the child actors were really good, and the dialog was also really well written. I had issues with the story, though. It was pretty clear they had to cut a lot out of King's monolith of a novel, so a lot of the character development was cut. It's a big problem in It (this is a really terrible name), because the monster is supposed to exploit the fears of the children, fears which were just kinda thrown out there with a random throwaway line for most of the main cast. Also the scares fell kinda flat. Whenever the clown popped up, people in the theater just started laughing. I fell victim to a few jumpscares, and even those really just made me regret not wearing ear protection, since the audio volume actually hurt my ears.[/spoiler]

I plan on seeing IT, I just haven't gotten around to IT yet. I'm really looking forward to IT though!

Saw IT yesterday. It was freaky. Not as good as the hype train suggested. Though, I still loved the film. The clown was pretty scary and I can't wait for the sequel.

A clown who fixes computers? What a weird premise.
