These things are popular like crazy now. Schools have already been banning them for a while. Anything to say on this thing?

Wow. I actually thought they were used as a treatment for autism or something. My school hasn't banned them because they think they help against anxiety and loss of focus. They don't think we absolutely need them, though.


I also don't know where the heck to buy them.

I see them carrying these everywhere! I'm still trying to find out what they are and how tonget a chance to touch them.

I've messed with one a bit. I can't see why anyone would possibly think it's a good idea for carrying around, especially for children to do it; the things are loud and don't take well to movement. I like the idea of a little toy for my hands to mess with to prevent me from engaging in my anxious habits, but the spinners are a terrible replacement.

I see no reason to ban them, they don't do anything bad, it just spins. It's just a thing to keep your hands busy.
I prefer a Rubik's Cube for fidgeting I guess

My nephew collects the things like pokemon cards.

They apparently started out as an autism tool? Idk for sure though.

They're for sale basically EVERYWHERE. Especially where I'm vacationing in a total tourist town.

Seriously though, plenty of Autistic people have testified against these online. Not to mention that there is no scientific evidence that supports these sorts of devices working as intended. Most likely it's just the placebo effect.

I had no idea what these were, I see them everywhere and my sister has some. They're really weird and I'm not sure why they're considered fun by so many kids, but there isn't any harm in them so whatever. They're just weird spinny things I guess

i'm pretty sure it was used for those with ADHD and ADD, not autism, which makes far more sense.
